The three LuMarE characters: two boys and the girl in pink holding a board with 3 × 4 = 12.

Three companions. So much to discover.

Our first adventure has a clear goal: learning multiplication tables by writing answers with a finger. With a friendly girl to guide the way, hints when needed and small goals to keep practising.

Our first learning adventureLearn to Multiply

Times tables are learned through practice.

Learn to Multiply turns a phone or tablet into a place to write, try and try again. Designed especially for children aged 7–8 who are starting to learn their times tables.

  1. 1

    Choose what to practise

Pick times tables and a round of 5, 10 or 20 questions.

  2. 2

Write the answer with a finger

Tap Done: the app interprets the writing and shows the number it recognised.

  3. 3

    Get help and keep learning

The girl offers encouragement. In practice mode, hints help explain a tricky multiplication.

Actual Learn to Multiply practice screen in Spanish: 4 × 2, recognised answer 8 and encouraging feedback from the girl.
Practice screen: an example of an interpreted answer. Spanish interface shown; English is also available.
Write. Try. Learn.
